RYUEI RYU 30th Anniversary Celebrated in San Diego

Competition, Seminar and Demonstration were a part of the BIG 30 Year Anniversary by Shihankai's Tomoshiro Arashiro Sensei at his Ryuei Ryu event held in San Diego, May 29th. The event was a sheer success with the participants of all ages enjoyed the celebration.

Master Arashiro was given the rank of 8th Dan from the honorary guest of 5th Soke of Ryuei Ryu, Master Nakaima. Master Arashiro came to the USA in 1979 with the purpose of introducing the Kobudo of Ryuei Ryu Karate which is a traditional Okinawan Karate. Since then Master Arashiro has been active in the USA and additionally in Latin American regions such as Venezuela and Argentine. Indeed, students of Master Arashiro was as Kata Tournament representative of the USA at the recent WKF Tournament in Japan.

Hokubei Shihankai gave a heart held "Congratulations!" to Master Arashiro and Ryuei Ryu for their accomplishment.
